Ah- [ Tir stares at the orb with wide eyes, gripping his horse's reins. It takes only a second for him to regain composure though he mutters something about how "it really does get big" before that. ]

Hey... I saw the bulletin and everything, but...what's going on here? This entire turn of events is pretty weird...

[ A second later, he shifts his orb down to his hip to show a sword with an ornate, gold hilt in a polished black sheath. ] And if anyone can give me a refresher on using this, come see me. I don't want to go out with just this and a horse.

You don't know much about using a sword? It is a bit different than the laser sword I am more used to but I can give you a few pointers with it if you would like?

Neither have I...

But "laser sword"? [ He pulls out his sword a bit just to confirm that, yes, it is just a metal sword. ] You're still probably better with a sword than I am. I haven't touched a sword since I was a kid.

I don't have that weapon here or I could show you what one looks like. It is like fighting with a shaft of light.

[It didn't function like a shaft of light but it did sort of look like one. ]

What did you fight with at home, anything? Or maybe yours was a peaceful word?
