[Not that he really wanted to, but Ryo supposed he should introduce himself. Maybe he'd find someone sane there...or maybe he'd get lucky and find one of the other Riders bumming around the area. He might not have been the only one that got roped into this. So he'll bite. He'll try the orb thing.

The picture on the orb shows a rather displeased-looking man in dark green light leather armor with a battleaxe strapped to his back. He's holding the reins of a horse that's wearing a rather odd set of armor that is somewhat reminiscent of his motorcycle.]

Consider this an introduction, I suppose. I'm Ryo Ashihara. I just got here, although the old guy that was there when I woke up wasn't much good at explaining what's going on.

[He glances back at the horse.]

And I have no idea what to do with this.

[Motorcycle maintenance, he can handle. Horse maintenance? That is another thing entirely.]

Monsters, I can handle. I'm not sure I can deal with idiots thinking they can control everyone's lives like this.

[He shakes his head when asked if he's a Knight.]

I don't think so...they called me a Berserker when I got here...

[And now Ryo looks a little insulted by that, although he's got a pretty good feeling as to why they might slap him with that label. Gills has that sort of effect on people. They're lucky he didn't freak out and transform right when he got there.]

...I actually think the horse used to be my motorcycle. The armor sort of has a resemblance.

[Which, really, somehow manages to make suddenly being responsible for a horse even worse.]

I can't help but feel that way a bit myself. Monsters are easy enough to defeat but a crowd of people all telling you to 'behave like a Prince' is a bit too pushy.

[Especially given what they think Princes should be doing. ]

A Berserker? Strange, I don't think we have had anyone else here called that.

[Eagle gives the horse a second look. Could an animal like that really have been a piece of technology? ]

The magic in this place is very unusual. I suppose it could have done something like that.
All this time I was missing my mecha but now I am kind of glad the FTO didn't show up with me. If it would have turned into a horse I really wouldn't have known what to do with it.

I think there is a stable near the castle. Maybe one of the stable-hands will be able to help you with your horse.

[There's a little disbelief in his voice, mixed with a great deal of annoyance. They'd called him a Berserker. It fit better than they realized, perhaps, but...he could only imagine what exactly the townspeople would be expecting him to do. And how that was coming off to anyone else.]

I haven't been here long enough to know what they usually like calling people. All I know is that's what they addressed me as earlier.

[He shrugs...and is glad for that last little bit of information.]

As long as there's someone who knows what they're doing with this thing. I don't suppose you know how to get there.

Pretty much, though I haven't had too much trouble just ignoring it or politely changing the subject if I didn't want to discuss it. I don't know if the others have been as lucky.

[Those villagers sure could be difficult to dissuade when they had something on their minds. ]

You will hear about them all soon enough.

[As for the stables... ]

If you head to the castle you really can't miss passing them. The stables I saw were just outside the main gate. I think they are mostly for the Knights but I can't imagine them turning a 'hero' away.

I guess I'll have to deal with them when the time comes.

[And given that he has a bad habit of punching people in the face when they annoy him, this might actually play into their expectations. Awkward.]

I imagine I will. I'm already feeling like I know more about this place than I really want to.

[Like the fact that it exists, and that he's stuck here...]

[Sounds like he'll give them a hard time if he gets any trouble from the stablehands.]
