What: JW is trying to sell the ancient beer he's found in the shack he moved.

"FINEST ALE IN ALL OF SHWERSHRWHATEVER!" was the cry.

James sat atop the little cart he'd dragged into town himself. Dusty crates and bottles spilled over the edges. He had discovered his shack had a basement. Every wizard needed a spooky basement but his had been filled with all of this. He had to get rid of it.

"EVERY price is tailored just for YOU!"

Bakura paused, hearing the semi familiar voice, and gone to see what the heck the yelling was about.

...the heck?

James recognizes that white head of hair and waves vaguely at the young mage. "Hey! Barkurga! Why don't you buy some of this, it'll put hair on your chest."

So, so bad at names.

.... So very very bad. It doesn't help that Bakura's not even going to correct him.

"Aaaa... no thank you. I don't think that would be a good idea for me." Really, him? With hair on his chest? As if that could ever happen!

"Well, if you know anybody who would like some, poin 'em in my direction, would ya?"

The fact that the kid turned it down may have earned him a tiny point of respect from the antlered man.

"I can't think of anyone, really... sorry," Bakura apologized. "Though you could try some of the locals in the craftsmen district, maybe? If you deliver, they'll likely try it, I'm sure!"

"It's an idea..." Soon as he figured out where that was. James had been here for some time now but didn't really know the layout of the town. That's what he got for being a hermit.

Faolan trotted over to JW, recognizing his smell.

"What are you doing?"

JW paused in fanning himself with that useless hat of his and looked down. It was that savage child that tried to chew on his head.

"Selling stuff. Does your pa drink? And also have money?"

"Everyone drinks." His head tilts to one side in confusion.

"Well, you go tell them I've got some good stuff for sale here." He patted the pile of dusty old bottles.

"What kind of stuff. Looks old."

[goldeneyeball]

"Some sorta beer." The wizard shrugged. "I've been told it gets better as it gets older, but I don't see how in the hell that's possible. I don't drink the stuff."

[greatsquirrelhunter]

Faolan scowled. "Hawk doesn't drink beer. Snow shouldn't. Should have said alcohol."
