Characters: The Magic Peddler
Open? Yes~
Where: Everywhere~
When: All day the 16th of Rebirth's Height.
What: The Magic Peddler is out selling his wares. What plot significant magical and cursed little do dad will your character acquire?
He's a slightly wizened old man; the large pack on his back has bent him over the years and his long grey beard looks to have not seen much of a comb in years. Yet he is clean, his brown tunic studded with light green tile that look like faded lily pads drifting in a muddied swamp, washed out from sun and wash. The charms hanging from the gold bands adorning his arms glitter, polished white and smooth as they clink together with every step.
There's something about him that draws the curiosity. The hopeful, the unguarded, the ambitious, those who have much to gain, those who have little to lose. He has something for them all, hidden treasures none have ever unearthed before. What is waiting for you, inside his pack?

They already thought him crazy for saying things like that existed, not that he really minded at all, it was just that the gap between medieval style technology and what he was used to seemed so large.
"I don't intend to be here long enough for something like that."
*changes what Eagle was going to get >D
He reached into one of the smaller pouches along his belt, pulling out a small leather satchel. "In my younger days, I once fought against a dragon unlike the ones in this land. When he had been slain, he left behind this gem." He slowly unwrapped the leather, relieving a deep red gem that was almost as big as a fist. "A scholar told me that it was the dragon's heart, and held in it a force that could power almost any thing if the correct pact was made."
The old man held it out with a smile. "Would your blood be noble enough to wake the dragon's heart, oh Hero from Another World?"
^,^ Going with a better idea?
Of course that wasn't all there was to it.
"The correct kind of pact?"

Wry smile countered by a smile of his own. He did enjoy challenges and this was beginning to sound like one to him.
"Would you want anything in return for that?"

Eagle isn't sure how yet, there is some other little mission he has in mind first, but maybe something will come to him later.
