Characters: The Magic Peddler

Where: Everywhere~
When: All day the 16th of Rebirth's Height.
What: The Magic Peddler is out selling his wares. What plot significant magical and cursed little do dad will your character acquire?

He's a slightly wizened old man; the large pack on his back has bent him over the years and his long grey beard looks to have not seen much of a comb in years. Yet he is clean, his brown tunic studded with light green tile that look like faded lily pads drifting in a muddied swamp, washed out from sun and wash. The charms hanging from the gold bands adorning his arms glitter, polished white and smooth as they clink together with every step.

There's something about him that draws the curiosity. The hopeful, the unguarded, the ambitious, those who have much to gain, those who have little to lose. He has something for them all, hidden treasures none have ever unearthed before. What is waiting for you, inside his pack?

The man reached into a pouch on his side, pulling out a iridescent orb that looked as if it had been made of smoked glass. "I was told that this glass is enchanted to show someone anything they'd like to see, no matter where it is. I've never been able to get it to work myself, I'm no sort of person these magics work for, I must admit. But I wonder if it will work for you, since you so desire to see the world..."

[[ooC: The Glass of Far Sight will allow her to see something no matter where it is, but not always the right time or at a helpful zoom. For example, she could look in it to see where someone is, but either not see anything helpful around them, or see where they were last Thursday with out any indication that it's that day.]]

She couldn't help but stare at it, wondering what exactly it was. When she listened to him explaining and heard what it did, she was rather surprised and yet excited at the same time. "I couldn't take something like that off you, not without repaying you." She fumbled around for a moment, trying to find some form of money that she had on her person somewhere.

"I have enough treasures to weigh me down, my dear child," the man assured. "My joy is in the retrieving, not the having."

She blinked a couple of times, hands paused as she once again looked at the object before her. Was he really just wanting to give it to her? A smile passed by her lips slightly, she was happy that someone did such a nice thing.

"Thank you, kind sir."

The man waved it off with a smile. "Think nothing of it. Glad to have the room in my pack again. Even at my age, there are still endless treasures to be held in these hands..."

"Endless treasures, you mean. there are a lot more to find?" She said leaning in curiously once more. Why must the world be so big and interesting.

"Oh yes. There are more hidden treasures in this world than any man can hope to even hear of in his lifetime."

She looked amazed, so much that no one man could possibly see it all. "Well, I hope that you are able to gather the things that you believe, and I can't wait to see you again, I'm sure."

The man smiled warmly, giving her a small bow. "Until the next time we meet, fair maiden."
