[[For once, Snow isn't in a back ally somewhere. She's somewhere far more green, but still flat on her back, staring vacantly up at the orb. The very edge of an empty bottle of wine can be seen in the grass to her left]]

Have you ever seen the moon shatter? It shouldn't... the moon's a big rock in the sky, like a smaller Earth, but dead. Dead, dead, dead, so dead it was never alive... [[she sighs, eyes drooping]] Can't shatter. I don't like seeing it do things it can't. So many things do that, don't they? Things move when they shouldn't, appear where they can't, change when they should stay the same.

[[She is quiet a moment, blinking, her eyes utterly unfocused]] Stay inside when the moon shatters... don't let it fall on you. It's too cold to be under a dead moon.

Maybe. Like a therapist or something.

[[shakes her head]] I know I'm crazy. They'll lock me away with nothing to make it hurt less.

Aren't they suppose to give medicine or something?

[demonsintheoven]

[[she gives a small laugh, reaching out to toy with the empty bottle]] I have medicine...

[halfwitch]

That's not medicine.

Nu-uh. Medicine makes you better. Drinks make you act stupid and fall asleep on the door step.

Not being able to hold on to things makes me feel better.

Doesn't that stuff hurt your insides though?

Dark Chyld hates me. He always has. And I don't blame him.

Don't be. I deserve to be hated... [[her eyes close and she puts an arm over them]]I couldn't protect my poor little flower from being plucked too soon...

My poor Lilly... [[a deep, depressed sigh]] I saw it, you know... saw it all, from the day she was born... but I hid from it. [[another sigh as she turns, curling up on her shoulder.]] I hid from it, so it all came true...
