[Clef plucked the small orb off the necklace and held it out before him. He waited for it to grow in size before he addressed the other would-be heroes. That was if they all complied with this ridiculous quest- sure it did sound vaguely similar to the legend of the magic knights, however that seemed far more organized in comparison. The magic knights had a clear purpose whereas here… they were given scant little to expand on. Encroaching thorns, paled in comparison to the eminent destruction of his own world. Not that he planned on openly expressing this opinion. Perhaps there was an actual threat here… but he had to return, as soon as possible.]

Let me extend my greetings to you all. I am known as Master Mage Clef on my own world. [He doubted the title mattered here but included it anyway]

Here, I have been ascribed with the title of a wizard.

Have there been any efforts to leave this place?

[The urgent tone to his voice implied there was a reason her desired to leave so quickly. He didn’t like the idea of allowing a world in peril to collapse on itself, but he needed to help save his own world first. Would the people of Cephiro be able to maintain the castle in his absence… ?]

How nice to see you again! Of course it would be better if we were still on Cephiro.

I am afraid I haven't been able to find a way back there yet.

[But he has been trying! It just requires magic... which you as a wizard Master Mage just might be able to do. ]

[Eagle didn't enjoy pointing it out, but without their magical leader Cephiro could be in greater trouble now than it had been. ]

[Maybe so, but it's warranted in this case. You don't have my country's welfare at heart, only your own goals. That does briefly silence Clef as he sucks in a sharp breath.]

Um, I don't think anyone has tried to leave yet. Or at least that I've heard of... I don't really know how I would, though. I don't really know much about magic.

Indeed I did, but I'm afraid I'm not entirely certain. With my magic I should be able to cast a simple spell that would accomplish such a feat however I have been unable to thus far.

Oh my! I'm afraid, Master Clef, that we have been completely cut off from the outside world. However it is wonderful to see you again.

I don't think there's been any success... Places like this tend to block anyone's ability to move between worlds. [[or at least that was what he assumed from back in the City!]]

Places like this? [What an odd way to phrase it] Am I to assume that you've been abducted from your world before?

For what purpose did that other world summon you? [There must have been a reason for that as well]

Entertainment value, I'm sure... [[half sighs]] There never was a real reason given. Just a story about replacing the police force, but that didn't make any sense at all.
