Characters: Anya and various
Open? TOTALLY OPEN
Where: The tearoom, the libraries, the halls...all over Schwannheim castle and its immediate environs.
When: All day on the 10th of Rebirth's Height.
What: Having tea, doing some research, and meeting new people =3
Warnings: Should be safe, but Anya can be a hideous person. If anything comes up, I'll edit to warn here and on the thread.
After getting her new knives with Sif, Anya sets out to explore her new surroundings. She meets Tatra in the tearoom, pours through the oddly limited volumes in the library, and wanders cheerfully around the castle and the town.
She's curious about - well, everything, about the history of the kingdom and omg dragons really and what sorts of things are the 'heroes' supposed to do, but she's charming and gracious and delighted to listen to anyone willing to spend time with her, never prying too hard or peppering with too many questions.

Sure, that's fine!
"Yeah, I am. Just got here this morning. You?"

Her first instinct was to show her own orb, but full hands hampered the motion. Olinda nodded once instead then, recalling her earlier exchange with the man who had no desire to return, canted her head to the side.
Was the girl like him, she wondered.
"My name is Olinda," she said, returning the smile with a more sure one of her own. "I intend to return home."

"Troublesome in the wrong places, but quite normal otherwise." Although 'normal' probably meant little to those who were from elsewhere. "You do not wish to return home either?"

"I'm not desperate to get back. I always wanted to have an adventure, and, well...now here I am!"

"I suppose the first adventure would be finding a place to sleep," she said, recalling how the maids had informed her of their preference that she not stay in the castle. Rude, really, but not surprising considering.

"Are you able to defend yourself?"

The manner in which she trailed off suggested a lack of keenness to do so, though. Olinda never had a stomach for blood or violence, the latter being done only in situations so dire she hadn't time to consider getting ill.
Ah, but her arms were full and her stomach scolded her for interrupting. "I wish you well in your training, then, Anya," she said, her smile warming. "Perhaps you could show me what you learn." If she was still here, which she dearly hoped not.
Unlike Anya, who meant to stay. At least, she wished not to return so soon, and so Olinda had to find someone of like mind elsewhere. Still, to leave her side was akin to removing one's foot from a deep pocket of mud -- not impossible, but there was that small moment of resistance.
