[The little lady is finally making use of her little orb, but if the frown on her face is any indication she'd not using it happily. The room she's in looks suspiciously like one from the monastery. ]

I don't care if I get caught again I'm not staying here. It's boring. I would have rather been sent to jail. [She wouldn't actually, she's just sore she got caught in the first place.]

All I took was some bread. If who ever brought me here didn't want me to take things, they shouldn't have left me here without any money.

[She looks up at him with an expression a few degrees off from being a glare. Someone's none to happy about this turn of events.]

I'm not staying here. I don't care what those officers want.

Well, there's not much I can do about you not liking it. But children need a home.

[He eyes her clothes] You don't look much like a Schwanheim child. Where did you come from?

[halfwitch]

This isn't a home. You take in kids here right? [Or at least that's what the officers told her] This is like a foster home. [She practically spits out the word.]

Australia.

[herbalistmonk]

[He smiles at that] Well, it's my home. And the home of all the other brothers. And while we normally don't take girls, we make an exception for young ones without a home.

[Then his brow wrinkled a little] Australia? Where's that?

[halfwitch]

Even if the girls don't want to be here?

You don't know where that is? It's Australia. The biggest island nation in the whole world.

[herbalistmonk]

[Hm. A place he has completely never heard of. This is suspicious.]

Are you one of the new heroes? [A girl? A child as a hero? They don't even expect their bastard royalty to be heroes until they're mostly grown.]

[halfwitch]

[She shrugs.]

I guess. But I'm not much of a hero.

Well, hero can mean a lot of things, although I trust we haven't brought anyone here to be a martyr.

Do you need anything?

Martyr?

[She shifts around.]

If I asked for food, you wouldn't poison it or anything. Right?

[herbalistmonk]

[He laughs] Why would I ruin good food with poison? Dinner is in half an hour. I'll bring your share out. Okay?

[halfwitch]

I dunno. That's just how stuff happens in books, you know. [She nods.] Okay.
