The field between the castle and the East bridge has been decked out, tall poles with flowing bright colored cloth, tables full of food and drink, a stage where performers play cheerful and mostly on key tunes that can be almost heard over the din of so many voices talking and laughing. There's a large area full of dancing couples, whirling skirts and brightly colored jackets mingling freely.

Any empty hands will be either pulled in to dance or given a large flagon of ale to join in the revelry. Come, eat, drink, dance and forget the cares of the world outside the town's walls!

"Then why hold it against me for not giving it to you?" Rue said, not taking her eyes off him. "What do you want from me, Mytho?"

"I wonder..." the Prince smiled. "You've already given me this freedom, this new life as I am now... What more can you even give me?"

Fakir's hand suddenly lashed out and clamped onto Mytho's arm. "Enough of this," he hissed. "Come on, we're going back."

Silently, Rue called out to all the ravens she could, commanding them to descend upon the crowd of girls. For once, they obeyed instantly, a flock of a dozen at least diving wildly at the group. A few of them may have hit a bystander or two, but what did she care?

"Let go of me!" the prince snarled, yanking to free his arm. "Get out of here!" he snapped, waving his free arm to try and scatter the ravens. Those were his girls, his hearts, he wouldn't give any of them to the Raven! Only his!

"Damn it, Rue!" Fakir snapped, moving to grab Mytho's other arm. He should have chased her off the minute she started following him, he knew it.

"And what would you have done to get those girls away?" Rue said, sending birds to chase off any stragglers who remained to watch the drama unfold. "This doesn't exactly make you look good, you know."
