...would anyone know about horses? I've been given one, but I don't really know much about what owning one entails...

[Curufin tries to ignore a lot of the orb twitter - it's a distraction from his studies, and for the most part he doubts the mortals that inhabit this place, even the heroic ones, are going to come up with anything particularly insightful. From what he's seen of them, he feels a kind of wary contempt for most of them.

Horses, though are a different matter.]

... I don't mean to appear rude, but who would just hand over a horse to someone who didn't know how to handle one? Clearly someone didn't have a lot of regard for your safety, or the horse's.
