Return of the White Mage! ... the other White Mage. No the othe-- oh nevermind. :(

Characters: Bakura and whomever else
Open? Yep~
Where: Somewhere around the capital.
When: It's... complicated. (Birds, I tell you! Birds!)
What: Bakura returns from investigating that weird time vortex that was left after the Hero of the Mountain was defeated with far more memories than he started with.
Warnings:

"And yet, all was not as it had once been. In that spot where the battle raged, there is a strange point of magic. A warping of space that seems to pulse. It is only visible to those who hold magic deep within them, or those who have been touched by it and those whose magic can see into the future may find themselves drawn to it and their arts touched by its strange power...."

Finding that note in the Book of History had sparked Bakura's curiosity, and with fewer and fewer people still around in the Kingdom... he had finally given in and gone to peer at that odd warping of space that had been left when the Hero the Mountain's time magic had been defeated. Standing before it, the pull had been utterly irresistible, and he found himself reaching out--

To any observer, the White Mage had simply vanished, like so many Heroes had when the White Mage-- no, the other White Ma-- oh fine, when the White Mage Kori's spell had waned in power once more.

But this vanishing was something altogether different, not that anyone but Bakura would realize.

It was almost impossible to tell (due to the simple fact that noone really kept track) how long he was gone for, but when he did stumble back out of the vortex, a considerable amount of time had passed, something reflected in the adjustments to his robes and hat (but noone had paid much close attention to those either so noone would at all notice. Such a shame really, to have these little plot details so overlooked...)

So it's with a rather distracted expression that he heads back into town, seeming almost lost...

...that is until he spots a familiar face. Even if there aren't too many of those yet.
