But, on the other he was invading another planet to accomplish that.
Eagle does wonder if the term really applies. ]

That aside what makes you think we can do anything to help you? We don't even know what the situation is.

Great evil threatening the kingdom! Lots of nasty thorns invading and towns disappearing. No help for it but to summon a hero! [[Surely you weren't expecting him to do anything about it, were you?]]

Isn't that something you should be handling? You must have magic users or an army?
Since this is your world isn't it your job to defend it from what ever 'thorns' are?

I did handle it! I had you brought in! Can't very well expect an army to be effective against nebulous dark forces! They're only good at killing other people, not evil!

So your enemy is magical? Do you know why your towns are disappearing?
