Really, um, according to one woman I spoke with, examining the thorns is, um, proving to be slightly problematic by virtue of the fact that they seem remarkably resilient to damage.

There's, um, a cursed peddler about selling all manner of troublesome things. Really, Helios, I think the locals would, would certainly make a go at him before you, even if they did take it into their heads to start stoning people in the streets.
...we, w-we should probably go investigating him soon, as well. The objects he sells are, um, apparently powerful enough to affect a major deity.
