If he could only reach out and grab the damn thing...well, Giles could reach out and grab the damn thing. As it stands, reflexes kick in, and - seeing the hat shift - he nevertheless makes an attempt, which will of course bring him back into conjunction with the horse. "W-Wait, hold on..."
