_{[James the self-described great and terrible appears in the orb. Behind him is the market place, alive with shouting people. The wizard himself looks a little worse than he usually does. On top of his usual frown and disheveled disposition, his face is peppered with shallow cuts.]}

The hell is wrong with these people today? Try to buy some damn apples and they throw a shitfit over your gold being stamped wrong. If shithole didn't have something to do with me getting back home I'd burn it to the ground.

_{[He doesn't think to mention the strange spectre he saw in the sky because clearly arguing with vendors over apples is more important.]}

They're crappy apples anyway. Look at this one, it's so bruised it might as well be a prune. Ffffft.

People have been a little strange today...

_{[James just keeps on staring. Then he actually looks just a tad frightened and gives the orb a shake. DB HOW DID YOU CHANGE THE CHANNEL ON THIS THING?]}

[[and now she's just... spacing out. Looking at nothing. Just... staring.]]

_{[And like a huge blanket of snowy silence, an awkward pause grew between them so deep a man needed waders to pass through it.]

[James, mildly horrified. Snow...doing whatever Snow does.]}

[[slowly, she looks up, blinking a few times as if she was just waking up.]]

There are small ones, no larger than a pebble, found in clusters. Deep purple, yellow burst at the stems. They like the bodies of trees it seems. You will find them wrapped around their trunks.

There are orange ones, too, but do not eat them. [ They had smelled off, and none of the little crawly things had tried to eat them when she was foraging. ]

I've been here a few days myself. I just don't use the orb much.

[Mainly because it's confusing.]

_{[As she says this, the would-be wizard digs a scroll of parchment that he may or may not have stolen out of his sleeve along with a small charcoal pencil.]}
