Then -- perhaps I will take advantage of your laxness. It will not be so difficult to tempt a maiden or two away from her humble home, will it? And who knows what horrors I may subject them to.

Loki laughs, as soon as the orb is extinguished; it pleases him to take responsibility for the shadowy appearances around Schwanheim. If Thor is to suspect him, Loki may as well confirm it; in the meantime, perhaps Loki will stir the heroes to action.

Loki himself, of course, is nearly at the thorns. He wants to speak with them. ]

[Loki had introduced himself to Eagle as a 'Liesmith, Silvertongue, God of Mischief...' so this turn of events was not really a surprise for him, disappointing maybe but some one can lie without endangering others. ]

Since you have made such a bold claim I suppose I should ask what you actually intend to do with the ladies you are threatening to lure away. Are we supposed to chase after you?

I don't know what made you decide to take this path but making things more difficult for everyone won't gain you anything. Give this up now before some thing actually happens.

[Besides chasing a shadowy figure was bad strategy. It was a fleeting thought, one that he hoped he would not have to think more about.]

I don't see why we should be enemies. You have nothing to do with my goals.

I will admit it is a selfish wish on my part, but it is something I want more than anything else.
